Women’s immune superiority than Men’s
First of all, let me say that, I am immensely honored to wish all the mothers and sisters “Happy women’s day” and am delighted to share your presence in this planet. In my sense of view, as well as the recent researches has revealed that, the Women are the strong forces of the human army — in the war against the microbial organisms.
Yes! For centuries now, men have addressed themselves as the stronger gender in the planet, but today’s science has revealed otherwise. Women are gifted with robust immunity by the Mother Earth; they possess immense strength naturally to fight back germs at ease — while men toil to stay immune and depend on external immune boosters.
This superiority comes at the very basis of their genetic programming, and is considered as a “fairer genetic set”, than that of men. The discovery has stated that men are more prone to illness, therefore can be affected more severely than women. The reason behind the inborn immunity of women is from their equal sized two X chromosomes; while men have one X chromosome with a smaller sized Y chromosome. With two equal X chromosomes, women’s genetics are more accessible to the mRNA’s; the mRNA is the crucial factor for regulating the immune system.
A research by Dr. Claude Libert of Belgium has found that, women are two times more stronger and immune to cancer than men — due to the presence of two X chromosomes. The research paper further explained, due to more accessibility to mRNA, they can “silence” or “deactivate” certain genes, that make humans vulnerable to viruses. Dr. Eleanor Fish, an immunologist, has elaborated, these mRNA molecules facilitate cell growth and immune system development; also suppresses certain proteins, which promote cancer. These mRNA molecules also promotes proteins that fight against the cancer cells. Further, if humans mutate their immune system through genes, that are linked to X chromosomes, then women will possess extra immunity.
Researchers believe this biological difference of immunity is, due to the evolutionary purpose of ensuring the species survival. Females are more evolved creatures than males because, they have to resist infections when they are pregnant and while nurturing the off-springs.
